Paket treh avstrijskih hardcore bendov, pri čem Gizela in Bicycle Terror zastopajo mlajšo generacijo avstrijskega punk hardcora. Drugače svetovnega trenda, ki ponovno obuja prvine te zvrsti med mlajšo generacijo. Na drugi strani pa imamo tukaj že tretjič v Velenju staroste žanra, enega bolj izvirnih avstrijskih bendov Bug.
Kdo nastopa?
Tyrolian noise rock quartet BUG has played their brand of black, post, doom, blues, sludge, avant-garde, metal onslaught for over two decades. Their stoic mentality combined with a strong DIY ethic and crushing live shows has made them kind of an Austrian underground legend at their lifetime. Musically hard to categorize, unwilling to follow suit a certain genre, BUG has always been part of the no scene. Unable to be trendy they are stuck in kind of musical autism. The lyrics are all about pitch black nihilism, political satire and every day madness.
BUG have done shows since 1997 and shared stages with the crème de la crème of punk/noise/avant-garde rock underground, like FLIPPER, UNSANE, OXBOW and many others. Lineup changes with two new guys in 20 years have been minimal.
BUG have released approximately 9 records with the help of fellow Austrian Labels like ROCK IS HELL / INTERSTELLAR / NOISEAPPEAL.

GISELA is a four-piece HC-Punk Band from Innsbruck, Austria formed in good old 2017. Although all members might appear as middle-aged men, they at least try to act young and dynamic just like your average five-year-old does. Lyrics mostly deal with struggles related to life in a capitalist society or more serious topics such as stand-up paddleboards, fitness studios, cat content or kitchen furniture.
After an initial 2-song demo in 2017, GISELA released a 7” EP ‘Horst’ (via Hardcore for the Losers) in 2018 and more recently a 12” LP ‘Pogo Haram’ (via Hardcore for the Losers & Dingleberry Records). Since 2014, the band Bicycle Terror has been striking, tearing and screaming against inner constraints in an unwieldy and playful way. The next round of this battle will be launched in Velenje, where, in addition to the current album ``Pedal Jazz, Flourishing``, there will also be some unreleased songs to listen to, with which, in turn, new energies inspired by 1980s hardcore punk will be choked free. The concerts of the four bicycle terrorists are like a sprint ride between Black Flag and Detestation, after which you can let yourself fall off your bike into Nirvana.
