Offbeat

Mlada zasedba je zrasla iz dveh zaporednih generacij srednješolskih bendov velenjske gimnazije.

Žanrsko sodijo na neopredeljen teritorij, še najbližje modernemu pop rocku, njihova glasba pa odraža splošno vzdušje današnje mladine s poudarjenim pridihom ljubezni do življenja in zabave.

Teku Snu

Teku snu je novonastali bend, v katerem so se povezali štirje glasbeniki s savinjsko-štajerskega konca. Z glasbo, ki jo trenutno ustvarjajo, se oddaljujejo od srednješolsko zaljubljene tematike in v besedilih obravnavajo resnejše teme. Ime benda je uporabljeno kot metafora za stagnacijo kljub trudu, kar je povezano s stanjem mladega človeka v sodobni družbi, ki je ujet v krog prekarnih zaposlitev, slabih najemniških stanovanj, neugodnih razmer za odraščanje in osamosvajanje, kar pa nenazadnje pušča posledice v njegovih odnosih z drugimi in s samim seboj. 

Defy

Čeprav bi jih lahko označili za punk metal bend, se ne držijo le določenega žanra in si pri ustvarjanju puščajo dovolj svobode za izražanje. Člani ekipe imajo različna glasbena ozadja, kar se bo odražalo tudi na prvencu, ki bo izšel letos.

Teku Snu

Teku Snu is a new band that connects four musicians from the Savinja-Styria region. Their current music is drifting away from the typically high-school love theme; their lyrics deal with more serious themes. Their name is used as a metaphor for stagnation despite effort, which is connected to the condition of youth in modern society that is trapped in the circle of precarious work, poor tenements, and unpleasant conditions for growing up and becoming independent. These conditions leave consequences on youth’s relationships with others and themselves.

Defy

We could describe them as punk-metal, but they don’t stick to a specific genre and give themselves plenty of creative freedom for expression. Band members have different musical backgrounds, which will be noticeable in their debut album coming this year.
